Annual Ladies Tea

The Queen Mum Janet McDonald requests your presence at the Annual Ladies Tea! We will have tea, coffee and tasting all sorts of goodies that you bring to sample! We are asking that everyone bring goodies and a favorite tea/coffee cup, and if you are a Red Hatter, dress accordingly!

SeniorPlace has the RUBY RED HATITUDES and they are a part of this annual Tea! This will be a wonderful chance to meet other members of SeniorPlace and share the history on your favorite tea, coffee cup. It is amazing to hear the history behind the tea and coffee cups.

Alzheimer’s Association—Care Consultations

Wednesday, February 3

Persons with Alzheimer’s or related dementias with family care partners can meet with Alzheimer’s Association staff to receive assistance to manage care and make informed decisions regarding services and treatments. Offered by appointment only, call 507-444-4280.

Amy Swain, will be here February 8 at 9am, consulting and answering any questions you may have about hearing aids. Those present will receive a coupon for a free hearing aid cleaning.

Healing Touch is a relaxing nurturing energy balancing techniques to enhance your physical, emotional, mental well-being. It is safe for all ages and works in harmony with standard medical care. Healing Touch is currently offered to patients in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, hospices, and a variety of other settings. Simple easily learned techniques that can be used on yourself or others will be taught. Wear comfortable, non-binding clothing. Techniques will be practiced standing up or sitting in a chair. Mary Levine , is a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner.

Car Care for the Spring/Summer

On April 13th, The local Napa Auto Care Business Development Group will be conducting a car care clinic from 12:30 to 2:30. They will be discussing tires, maintenance, services needed by your vehicle, dash symbols and will they leave you stranded. The participating repair facilities are Keck’s Repair, Marks repair, Terry Repair, Tim’s Auto Service. Hope that you can attend! Sign up

Softball

The first meeting for the Silver Streaks Softball will be on April 18th at 1:00 pm in the Board Room. Interested, give us a call and come to the meeting!

Out to Lunch Bunch:

This group is for people interested in joining other SeniorPlace members for lunch once a month. They try different restaurants in Owatonna and the surrounding area, meet new people and enjoy the socialization that accompanies this type of activity.

The cost of the meal is Dutch Treat, and we do ask that you call us at 444-4280 to sign up. This group is for SeniorPlace members, both men and women. We will plan on meeting for lunch at the restaurant at 11:30 am, but make sure to check each month!
