Memorial & Needs Committee
The SeniorPlace Memorial Committee has been in existence since 1989. SeniorPlace receives donations from families and friends of deceased members and they earmark the monies to go toward SeniorPlace Memorial Fund.

The Memorial Committee has overseen the preparation of the Memory Garden, Benches, East Meeting Room and Computer Lab. Purchased the tables and chairs for the West Meeting Room on second floor, renovated the two couches in the front lobby, Display Cases on first and second floor, magazine racks, and the flagpole.
The committee is a vital entity to SeniorPlace.

The Needs Committee meets 10-12 times per year to discuss needs of the senior center to better the surroundings such i.e. carpeting, painting, cost of upholstery, etc.
The Memorial and Needs Committee combined in 2008 to give recommendations to the Board of Directors for use of the Memorial Fund and the needs of the senior center.
