Fairgrounds Park

- 22 acres steelectyfairgrounds-lg

This park is leased land from Steele County. In that the County needs the use of some of this land during the Steele County Free Fair, long term lease arrangements were initiated in 1964.

This park is the hub of adult softball games and youth football games. The development of the four athletic fields, and restroom/concession facility are in large part due to the contributions of the Owatonna Softball Association. This group has contributed in excess of $75,000 toward various projects at this park, while the Owatonna Eagles Club has funded a picnic shelter and drinking fountain.
