Pickleball

Owatonna Pickleball in partnership with Owatonna Park and Recreation will be offering a six session fall pickleball class for youth.  Pickleball is an up and coming sport for all ages.  Pickleball is a cross between badminton, tennis and ping-pong.  It is played on a slightly smaller court then tennis and uses a paddle and a whiffle ball.  This is a great opportunity for youth to learn a new sport, excellent exercise and spend an hour with other youth of the community.  The classes will be offered at Morehouse Park outdoor Pickleball Courts.  Members of the Owatonna Pickleball Association will be instructors for the after school classes.  A limited number of participants will be accepted so that actual playtime will be at a maximum.  Interested to find out how the sport is played go on line to www.pickleball.com

Pickleball classes will be held for 7-10 & 11-13 year olds
