Minnesota Lynx Game: Friday, June 24

Join the Owatonna SeniorPlace as we travel to Target Center to watch the 2015 WNBA Champions Minnesota Lynx take on the LA Sparks. Bring a friend, grandchild, or family member. Everyone is welcome! Register by June 3

SPAM Museum: Wednesday, July 13

Take a trip down memory lane as we check out one of the Minnesota’s top attractions and newly

remodeled Hormel Foods SPAM Museum, now located downtown Austin. Featuring audios, videos and displays depicting the rich history of Hormel Foods in a tour that is interactive, educational, and fun for all ages. Lunch will follow at Piggy Blues and is included in the ticket price. Register by June 29

St. Paul Saints Baseball Game: Sunday, July 24

Join the Owatonna SeniorPlace as we take our first trip up the NEW CHS Field, home of the St. Paul Saints. Take advantage of this great opportunity to watch

outdoor baseball and take a stroll through the beautiful CHS Field concourse. The Saints will be taking on the Laredo Lemurs for a 5:05pm first pitch. Bring a friend, grandchild, or the whole family. Tickets are limited. Register by July 13

Cost: $32 for SP-Member and anyone under 18 & Under or $42 for Non-Member

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art and form of stylized, meditative exercise, characterized by methodically slow circular and stretching movements and positions of bodily balance.

Cost: $1 per class

Zumba® Gold

Designed for the active, older adult, the true beginner, or people who are not used to exercising or may be limited physically. Instructor: Char Roetman.

Cost: $4.50 SP Members, $5.50 non-members

Location: SeniorPlace, multi-purpose room

Time: 3:45-4:30pm



Pilates is a proven gentle total body workout which strengthens deep back muscles, abdominals, upper and lower body as well as improving flexibility.  This is a very beginner class. Exercises are balanced with stretches throughout. Class will leave you refreshed and relaxed.  Clean mats will be provided for use or bring your own. Instructor: Susan Bernhart.

Cost: $2 per session

Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays

Time: 9:30-10:30 am  



Yoga is a series of postures and stretches in combination with breathing to develop flexibility and relaxation. Proper alignment of the body will bring balance, strength, and calmness to the participant.

Cost:   - 12 Class Punch card: $60.00 members/$72 non-members

- 6 Class Punch card: $33 members/$39 non-members

- Individual classes: $6 members/$7 non-members
