Owatonna Firefighters Participate in Tough Mudder Competition - 5/19/12

AT THE END OF THE COMPETITION

Seven current firefighters and one retired firefighter participated in the Tough Mudder competition on May 19th.  The competition is a 10-12 mile obstacle course, which includes running on hilly terrain in-between obstacles.  Proceeds from the competition go to the Wounded Warrior Project.  All of our firefighters completed the course in about 3 hours.  Way to go, guys!! 

Station Visit - 5/17/12

Associated Preschool visited the fire station on May 17th.  The firefighters talked to them about fire safety, showed them around the building, had them sit in a fire truck, and put their turnout gear on for them.  Since the weather was nice, they were even lucky enough to spray water from a fire house!
